Memory Repression and Structural Dissociation (Event Recording)

$15.00

This is a 1.5 hour long recording of a talk given by me and Kelsey Zazanis. You will receive the file via email.

Memory repression and structural dissociation are poorly understood, sensationalized, treated with skepticism, disbelieved, and stigmatized. Yet these are two common adaptations for surviving complex trauma. Kelsey Zazanis and Clementine Morrigan, two incest survivors who write and produce knowledge on incest, discuss their respective experiences with memory repression and structural dissociation.

This talk is for anyone who wants to understand survivors better, including survivors themselves. This talk is an act of solidarity between two incest survivors, one who recovered repressed memories and the other who has a split personality.
