I am writing an as of yet untitled, literary nonfiction memoir in fragments that explores the twin themes of patriarchal incest and maternal neglect. An intimate memoir of my own survival, an exploration of the incest memoir as a literary form and political object, and a call to action for incest to finally be taken seriously as a pressing social and public health issue. The writing for this project writing is finally gaining momentum and I need to focus on it at the expense of things that will actually make me money.
